The Life of Chuck tells the story of an ordinary man, Charles “Chuck” Krantz, through three acts presented in reverse order, starting with an apocalyptic near-future linked to his impending death at 39 from a brain tumor, then rewinding to his happy middle age, and finally to his childhood with a loving, if eccentric, grandfather, revealing the cosmic significance of an unremarkable life through beautiful, fleeting moments of joy and human connection.
